Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vanuatu was formed to comply with "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vanuatu Act" in 1995. The Act also provides for the establishment of local Chambers in TORBA, SANMA and luganville, PENAMA, MALAMPA, SHEFA, Port Vila and TEFEA regions.

With more than 5,000 members, the Chamber has significant lobbying power on behalf of its members. Its voice is listened to and acted upon by local and national government as well as a number of other key regional, national and international organisations.

On a practical level, the Chamber is able to offer a range of services available to our members:

  • Organising valuable networking opportunities
  • Offering member benefits and support
  • Providing local and national policy representation
  • Advisory service to start-up or expanding businesses
  • A comprehensive programme of over training and development activities
  • Website development to take advantage of the global community and Vanuatu's tax friendly status
